Shy Engine is a proprietary software protected in France, European Union and the United States of America and is copyrighted by its author.
Shy Engine is currently in an early-version stage, that is in a non-production stage and is still heavily in development.
While we are offering a great care in our development and Shy Engine is in an useable state, please keep in mind that some functionalities might be missing, buggy or not working as expected.
Shy Engine currently builds and works on Microsoft Windows 10, most Linux distributions and FreeBSD.
While all these platforms are known to be well supported, early-versions might reveal unexpected behaviors, specially on Windows and FreeBSD.
Future platforms on which Shy Engine will be supported include: Sony Playstation 5, Microsoft Windows 11 and Google Android.
You can request a licence of an early-version of the tools and the C++ SDK / API on a per-machine and per-year basis. There is no access to the source code.
Requesting an early-version will give you some advantages, including, but not limited to, the ability to test our features and to request new specific features for upcoming versions.
